Attend the weeks you want! From painting and puppet making to sculpture and everything in between. No experience necessary. We work individually with each student at their level to help them achieve their best work. Amazing instructors and a super fun environment.

Stop Motion Building Blocks! / June 8 - 12
Learn the essential concepts of stop motion animation—from timing to squash and stretch and more. If you are passionate about stop-motion and want to strengthen your skills, this week is for you!
Awesome Animal Town / June 15 - 19
This week we’ll create original animal characters and collaborate to create a miniature town that has a grocery store, playground, library and more. Is the sloth the school principal? Is the lion the librarian? Anything is possible in our animal town!
Make your own Stuffie / June 22 - 26
This week we'll design characters or animals and turn them into real, huggable stuffed animals! Learn basic sewing skills or build on the skills you have.
Claymation Sensation! / July 6 - 10
A jam-packed week of animated fun! We will make clay character puppets, create sets, shoot films, and bring our ideas to life! Taking last summer's class is not a prerequisite but returning students will build on their skills from last time! We will make clay character puppets, create sets, shoot films, and bring our ideas to life! We’ll wrap it up with the 3rd Art/Work/Place Claymation Fest!
Comics & Picture Books : The Art of Visual Storytelling / July 13 - 17
We will work on original single page comics or short picture books. Develop characters, consider composition, and create short stories. Will your story be about a weird wizard? A one-eyed ocelot? A misunderstood mouse? Strong illustrations create compelling stories!
Make your Mini Me! / July 20 - 24
Express who you are and want to be! Artists will make full body mini me self-portraits using paper collage. LARGE PAPER DOLLS! Fashion design! Costume design! We will add accessories and fantastical elements from backpacks to jetpacks, from crazy hats to imaginary friends and so much more.
CARDBOARD CARNIVAL! / July 27 - 31
We’ll make sculptural games that are as much art pieces as they are fun to play with! The possibilities are endless, from an octopus ring toss to a mini golf monster, let your mind run wild! We will end the week by playing the games together!
Stop Motion Commotion! / august 3 - 7
There are so many different types of stop-motion animation beyond claymation! This week we will be exploring other types of stop-motion including cut-paper puppet animation and Lego animation! We’ll wrap it up with the 2nd art/work/place Animation Fest of the summer!

Design Your Own Characters! / June 4 & 5
Character design is crucial to comics, books, games or animation. During this mini-intensive, students will invent characters with unique personalities, behaviors and backstories. They will create illustrations of their characters with unique, recognizable features, silhouettes and expressive poses! This is perfect for aspiring animators, illustrators, and visual storytellers! This two day project would be a great companion to our “Comics! Picture Books! The Art of Visual Storytelling” week!
Imaginative Inventions! / august 10 & 11
From concept to illustration to cardboard prototype, you will conceive original inventions! From practical to fantastical, what product do you wish existed?
