art/work/place is building an exciting hub of art education responding to the individual talents of each student and centered around a curriculum that teaches fundamentals while encouraging creativity.

 Join us on Sunday, January 29 for a 60 minute introductory lesson for only $10 (normally $30) and all the proceeds go to SPEF. Its a win-win!

2016 Ornament Competition

Come make an ornament for the South Pasadena Holiday Tree!

Workshops on Monday, Nov 14 & 21 from 3- 5pm.
Located right next door to the South Pasadena Middle School. 
We provide the supplies! 

 Your fabulous creation will be featured on the South Pasadena Holiday Tree during the tree lighting on December 1st. 

All participants get a prize and you can take your ornament home after the ceremony. 

Drop off homemade ornaments at art/work/place
Last day to enter: November 23rd 2016, by 8pm.

Moving on up!

We are so pleased to announce that we will be moving to a new, beautiful, and more spacious location beginning August 30th. It's a wonderful opportunity, giving us space to grow our classes and services. We have some exciting developments planned for the year ahead! 

Our current class schedule will remain the same for the month of August, then we will add additional class times and begin offering a wider variety of classes, including specific classes for 3-5 year olds beginning October.

Moving to this new location is the first step in building art/work/place into the hub of unbelievably fun art education that it has always set out to be. We want to say "Thanks!!" to those of you who see and appreciate what we offer. We are so grateful to have your support and encouragement as we head into this exciting new stage!

Summer Art Intensive // Part 1

Multimedia Art Making:

Starting June 20th thru June 24th, we be exploring multimedia making at its best! Working with clay and other three dimensional materials, your child will be able to bring their ideas to life in a fun, hands on way. Please call, text, or email the studio to reserve your spot today. 

$10 Music and Art Lesson Day

Wish you could get a little taste of the art/work/place experience? Now is your chance!! We will be offering hour long art lessons for only $10 on January 31, from 10am till 4pm. All proceeds benefit the wonderful Kidspace Museum in Pasadena. 

Spots are limited so sign up early!

We are excited to be working with the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce again this year by sponsoring the Holiday Ornament Contest.
